FairGuide.com and EXPOGUIDE Scam Alert!
With the ongoing solicitations, SEMI would like to continue to alert you to the FairGuide.com scam where an Austrian publishing company, Construct Data Verlag AG (aka "FairGuide") was distributing an internet directory listing form to a number of our exhibitors in the past.

It has come to our attention that another organization EXPOGUIDE is also soliciting Event Directory information in the same misleading manner.  In submitting these forms, exhibitors are contracted into a three-year, non-retractable agreement totaling nearly US$3,000.  This is an on-going issue and is not related to the SEMICON® Taiwan 2009 Event Directory.  These companies do not represent SEMI in any manner.  If you receive a form from these companies, please ignore it.

If you are a U.S. company that has been targeted by either organization, it is important to lodge a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission.
